All residents and visitors in the state of Kansas may fish for free this weekend.

According to the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism, anyone may fish on June 5th and June 6th without the need of a valid fishing license. However, all public lands, equipment, length and reel restrictions still apply and must be followed.

June 12th and June 13th, similarly, are free fishing days in Missouri. Places to fish in Coffeyville include the Verdigris River and LaClere Lake.
