A man and woman were injured over the weekend after a wreck that occurred in Wilson County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 1998 Pontiac Grand Am was southbound on Lane Road south of 300 Road just west of Neodesha. The vehicle left the roadway to the right for an unknown reason, vaulted over the creek bed, struck a tree, and rotated landing on the front two wheels.

The occupants of the vehicle, 29-year-old Antonio Padilla and 18-year-old Thaleana Hill, both of Fredonia, were transported to Wesley Medical Center with serious injuries. Neither Padilla nor Hill were wearing a seatbelt and it is unknown at the time who was driving the vehicle.
