Two individuals are arrested after passing counterfeit money at the Dollar General in Caney last month.

During the investigation, Caney Police Officers contacted a female in the 700 block of North State St. who was in possession of 22 counterfeit $100 dollar bills. As a result of that interview, the two suspects were identified, 25-year-old Morgan Burnett and 38-year-old Anthony VanZant. Burnett was arrested for passing counterfeit money and theft and VanZant for aiding and abetting the passing of counterfeit money and theft.
