Oklahoma Gov Holds Cookout Under PETA Billboard

Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt held a cookout in front of a billboard criticizing him for supporting meat products in Oklahoma. PETA put up the billboard near the state capitol after Governor Stitt declared a “Meat All Week” week in March. Governor Stitt says agriculture is a huge part of the state employing 110,000 Oklahomans.

The Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association joined Governor Stitt during the cookout. Governor Stitt, wearing a Beef Council apron, manned the grill cooking both hamburgers and ribeyes. OCA's Michael Kelsey said it is great to have a governor who is pro-agricultural.
