A Caney woman resists arrest, fights with officers and attempts to escape police custody. Caney Police Officers after responding to a domestic disturbance call attempted to arrest 26-year-old Katy Kelso, who was involved in the domestic disturbance, for a warrant in the city.

Kelso did not comply and became combative, but officers were able to gain control. Kelso was placed in the intox room, where she attempted her escape. Kelso ran into an ambulance bay and attempted to fight off officers with items she had grabbed off the wall. During the altercation, an officer reported Kelso grabbed his gun but it was secured in his holster. Officers were able to subdue Kelso and transported her to the Montgomery County Jail. She is being charged with interference, two counts of battery and assault on a law enforcement officer.
