Car Crashes Into Store in Pittsburg

 

A Casey's in Pittsburg has received significant structural damage after a car crashed into the building.

 

Pittsburg Police Department Officers were dispatched to South Pittsburg, in reference to a report of an accident involving a motor vehicle colliding with the building. Upon arrival, officers discovered a vehicle, which was driven by a 16-year-old juvenile, had struck and entered the east side of the building. The vehicle had pulled up to the east side of the building, where it then jumped the curb at the walkway and then struck the building.

 

The two passengers in the vehicle at the time of the collision were 38-year-old Travis Tyler and 32-year-old Veda Tyler, both of Pittsburg. Neither passenger reported any injuries, and there were no occupants in Casey’s who reported any injuries either. The vehicle was able to be removed from the building under its own power, and it was not towed from the scene.

 

The investigation into this accident is continuing.
