KDOT to Replace Bridge on K-99 in Greenwood County

A bridge replacement in Greenwood County could slow down traffic for just over a year. The Kansas Department of Transportation will begin work in early May on the project to replace the bridge that spans over Fall River and is just over 2 miles south of the west U.S. 54/K-99 junction.

K-99 traffic will be placed on a temporary road around the work zone. The bridge replacement should be completed early next year, weather permitting. Bridges Inc. of Newton is the primary contractor on the nearly $4 million project.
