The 2nd Annual Independence BBQ Cook-Off was a success as over $7,000 was raised for 5 year old Avery and her family. Organizer Brett Trotter says the expectations he had were greatly exceeded.
Trotter says Boom City BBQ, Woodward, OK, was the Grand Champion and Consuming Fire BBQ was the Reserve Champion. Boom City BBQ also placed 1st in Brisket, Full Throttle BBQ 1st in ribs, Two Buds BBQ 1st in anything but and Bigley BBQ 1st in chicken.
