The Kansas Department of Transportation plans to begin a project to remove and replace the pavement markings on K-7 from U.S. 160 north to U.S. 400 starting April 26th.

Flaggers and a pilot car will direct one-lane traffic through the work zone; expect delays of 15 minutes or less. The work should be completed in about 10 days, weather permitting.

KDOT awarded the construction contract of nearly $300,000 to Century Fence Company, Pewaukee, Wis.
