A section of K-39 in Bourbon County, shown in orange on the map below, has been closed for replacement of the bridge over Pawnee Creek. The work zone is closed to all traffic until completion of the project in late 2021. The state route detour, shown in blue, is signed on U.S. 59, K-47 and U.S. 69.
