There are ten structures that are going to be demolished in Coffeyville.

The proposal was approved at the most recent city commission meeting to have Muller Construction tear down the houses. Most of the homes are rather abandoned or broken beyond repair.

After these structures are torn down, the city plans to take down ten more in the future. The money for the project comes from the revenue from the city's trash service.

The city only tore down ten houses all of last year, but that's only because the houses they tore down had asbestos which costs more money to tear down.
