New COVID-19 Cases Over the Last Week in Montgomery County Totals to 14

There have been 14 new COVID-19 cases over the last week in Montgomery County, according to the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. This is an increase of six cases from the previous report from March 29th to last Monday.

Statewide, there were 483 new cases, no deaths and 20 new hospitalizations in Kansas from Friday leading up to yesterday. There have been 304,719 total COVID-19 cases and 4,930 deaths since the pandemic began.

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine production has been halted due to six women having blood clots. The women's ages ranged from 18-48, according to the FDA. They stated that there is uncertainty if the clotting is related to the vaccine, but they are taking extreme precautions in case of any correlation.
