Motorists who drive on U.S. Highway 400 in Greenwood County will need to give themselves extra time as the Kansas Department of Transportation plans to begin a full-depth concrete patching project.
The project area runs from the north K-99/U.S. 400 junction east to the Greenwood-Wilson County line. Temporary traffic signals will direct one-lane traffic through the work zone. Expect delays of 15 minutes or less. Weather permitting, the road work should be finished by mid-May.
KDOT reminds drivers to obey the signs and signals and to slow down.
