A Caney man was arrested for criminal damage and pedestrian under the influence of alcohol.

Yesterday evening, 33-year-old Jason Kelly went into the Caney Police Department intoxicated. After exchanging words with the dispatcher on duty he departed the Police Department on foot. The dispatcher on duty notified the Caney PD Officer on duty and they contacted Jason Kelly at 4th and State St.

Kelly was charged with criminal damage to property for damaging an intoxilyzer machine at the police department and pedestrian under the influence of alcohol. He was taken to the Montgomery County Jail.
