Cherryvale voted to keep its 1% sewer sales tax for the next ten years.

The vote was on the city's ballot yesterday and was approved by a vote of 96-15. The tax will be up for a vote again in 2031 and is set to retire in 2035.

Money from the tax will continue to go towards bond and interest payments, sewer maintenance and repairs, and city jobs to maintain the sewer system.
