Scattered Storms and Showers Heads for SEK

Some scattered storms and showers could hit southeastern Kansas later this evening and continue into the early morning hours on Wednesday.

Rainfall amounts will range from a trace to a tenth of an inch, according to the National Weather Service in Wichita. Chances of precipitation grow more and more likely throughout the early morning hours into the late morning hours tomorrow.

This is a different storm system than the one that hit south central earlier this morning that missed most of southeastern Kansas.

We are also currently under a wind advisory that is set to expire at 8 p.m. this evening.
