The Chautauqua County Commission has authorized the purchase of a new pickup truck.

The BOCC will allow the Roads & Bridges department to purchase a new F-250 from a dealership located in Longton. It will cost the county $29,562. In other business, the commission continued its efforts to repair a county crane that has been found to be faulty.

The commission will meet again next Monday, at 8:30 am inside the county courthouse.
