State Senator Virgil Peck talked about several bills that he has been actively working on during the current legislative session.

 

Peck first brought up Senate Bill 76 also known as the Golden Year Homestead Freeze Act. Sen. Peck said that this bill will help senior citizens with property taxes.

 

Sen. Peck also said that senior citizens will not be the only ones that will benefit from this bill if passed.

 

Sen. Peck also described Senate Bill 50 which was just recently passed by the Senate by a 35-3 count.
