Coffeyville is continuing to renovate the Midland Theater.

There have been improvements made on the outside of the building, but there is still a long way to go. The total project cost is $220,000 and the city hopes to achieve this goal by April 1st.

The city is hoping to receive funds from service organizations, businesses, families and leaders. They're also hoping they can get some financial help from outside of the city as well.

The theater holds a capacity of approximately 800 people. The banquet hall also holds around 300 seats and the ballroom can hold 60 people.
