As vaccination efforts continually ramp up, the number of COVID-19 cases continues to drop statewide.

The state of Kansas only saw 590 new cases but four new deaths and 24 new hospitalizations between Friday and Monday, according to the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.

Locally, there have been only six new cases between Friday and Monday, but there were 18 new positive cases on Thursday. The total number of COVID-19 cases in Montgomery County is 3,337.
