Another student at Independence High School has tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Montgomery County Health Department.
Per the school district's protocol, areas that the student has occupied over the last several days have been closed off to be disinfected.
Those who were identified as close contacts have been notified and they will not be allowed to return to school until the health department deems it safe. However, they will have access to remote learning.
If you have any questions, you can contact Superintendent Rusty Arnold at 620-496-4706.
