A student at Independence High School has tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Montgomery County Health Department.
All areas the student has used over the last several days have been closed off to be disinfected. Those who have been identified as close contacts have been notified. They will not be allowed to return to school until the health department deems it safe, but they will have access to remote learning.
If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact Superintendent Rusty Arnold at 620-496-4706.
