Plenty of department heads were in attendance for Monday's Chautauqua County commission meeting.
The commission discussed a soon-approaching property appraisal conducted by KCAMP. Commissioners David Deal and Parker Massey also referred back to a previous meeting in regards to masonry company Renodry, saying they'd like to visit with other counties who have worked with them before committing to anything further.
In addition, the department heads for several offices in the county stopped by for a quick chat with the commissioners. Both Massey and Deal stressed the importances of documentation for conflicts and other important details. They also suggested that those in attendance consider taking classes offered by KCAMP for further training.
The commission will meet once again next Monday at 8:30 am.
