Senator Roger Marshall came through southeastern Kansas Saturday morning and made a stop at Coffeyville Community College to answer questions and hear concerns from local residents.

 

Marshall answered questions on a wide variety of topics from abortion and voter fraud to the federal debt and the COVID-19 relief bill that will be voted on by Senator Marshall and the rest of the U.S. Senate.

 

Kansas State Representative Doug Blex and Kansas State Senator Virgil Peck were in attendance. Peck expressed his frustrations regarding fraudulent unemployment claims and how the state Department of Labor was untruthful about how much fraudulent money the state has handed out.

 

Also in attendance was Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt who talked about some of the executive orders put in place by President Joe Biden as well as his thoughts of those in the U.S. Supreme Court.

 

Those in attendance were very thankful for the work he's done in the two months he has been in Washington, and Marshall expressed his gratitude for those who voted for him. In his closing remarks, he let people know what he's currently focusing on the most.
