A staff member at Jefferson School and a student at Independence High School have tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Montgomery County Health Department.

Areas are temporarily closed off that those who tested positive have occupied over the last several days. Those who have been identified as close contacts have been notified and they, along with those who tested positive, will not be allowed to return to school until the health department deems it safe.
