With the snow and multiple days of temperatures below freezing many electric and gas companies are asking residents businesses to conserve energy. Atmos Energy Manager of Public Affairs Aaron Bishop has some tips to help do that.

Bishop says on the safety side of things you want to be careful how you heat your homes.  Bishop says if there is snow or ice blocking your gas meters or pipes to safely thaw it and not chip away at it or try to break it.
