The Southwest Power Pool has issued an Emergency Alert Downgrade, returning to EEA level 2, until further notice. Currently, SPP is able to meet its minimum Contingency Reserve Requirements. Should reserve requirements degrade, it is anticipated that we would return to an EEA Level 3.

All customers are encouraged to maintain conservation efforts throughout this winter event period maintain EEA Level 2 or lower to prevent rolling blackouts. Coffeyville Municipal Light and Power will continue to monitor the situation and update the customers as needed.
