Southwest Power Pool has authorized GRDA and the City of Coffeyville to restore all load on its systems.

The Energy Emergency Action Level 3 remains in effect until further notice. Coffeyville Municipal Light & Power doesn't anticipate any additional curtailments during the day, but that isn't for certain. The possibility of additional interruptions in service will increase later this evening and again tomorrow morning.

All residential services have been reinstated at this time with the exception of a small area south of the old Southwire building. The city has mainly been dropping power from industrial areas and they claim to have dropped a combined load of 12+ megawatts.

The city asks that you still conserve as much energy as possible in your home or business. If your power did not come back on, please notify the operator's desk at 620-252-6180.
