The Miami Department of Emergency Management is preparing citizens to get ready for a power outage this morning.

Miami Police Chief Thomas Anderson gave details of when the outage is expected. Anderson said that the outage could be about 45 minutes, but said to prepare for it to be longer than an hour just in case.

The Miami Police Department did a Facebook live at 8:45 a.m. making this announcement and said to follow the page along with their website to stay updated. Anderson said that he will try to give a warning if this were to happen again.
