A Dollar General Store in Parsons was robbed early Monday morning. The Parsons Police Department announced that the robbery took place just after 9 am this morning. 

The suspect was described as a white male, wearing blue pants and a tan coat, and is armed with a black handgun. The suspect fled the scene with an unknown direction of travel. Police are asking for assistance from anyone with cameras or footage that would help identify the suspect. More details will come as they become available.
