Consecutive Hours Below Freezing Record Could Be Broken in OK

 

The number of consecutive hours below freezing could be broken on Thursday.

 

According to Oklahoma Mesonet, In Bartlesville as of 8 a.m. this morning, there have been 207 consecutive hours where the temperature has been below 32 degrees dating back to Sunday, February 7th. The current Mesonet record is 282 hours and will likely be broken.

 

The lowest temperature in Bartlesville recorded so far during the streak is -5 and the lowest in the state is in Boise City which is the furthest western point on the panhandle which got down to -21.
