A 25-year old Chanute man has been arrested on a warrant for aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

Earlier this month, detectives with Chanute PD started an investigation into alleged sex crimes involving juvenile victims. Investigators worked with the local Department for children and families conducting interviews and gathering information in regards to the cases. Detectives submitted an arrest affidavit and were granted an arrest warrant for Wesley Lee Scott Huffman.

He was transported to the Neosho County Jail without incident.
