Snow and Brutal Wind Chills Expected Over the Next Few Days

 

According to the National Weather Service in Wichita, a storm system is expected to move slowly eastward and bring snow to the region from Saturday night through Monday night. Accumulating snowfall is likely across much of the region.

 

Wind chills are expected to be below freezing throughout the weekend. Heading out the door today, wind chills could get as low as -7 throughout the area.

 

As for the weekend and into early next week, the wind chills are only going to get worse. Starting Saturday and lasting until Tuesday, they could fall anywhere from -10 to -25.
