Cold Weather Travel Precautions

 

With the frigid air mass over southeast Kansas and northeast Oklahoma drivers need to take extra precautions.  In these conditions, if you don’t have to travel it’s a good idea to stay home.  However, if you do have to get out on the roads Brad Ketchem with the National Weather Service in Wichita says layer up with extra clothing.

 

Ketchem adds not to expect relief from the arctic temperatures anytime soon as the arctic air mass is expected t/o linger into next week.
