Temperatures in the area are looking like they are only going to get colder, which means road conditions could get worse. Labette County Public Works Director Sandy Krider says they have salt sanded all of the blacktop roads in the county.

Krider says when the temperatures get this cold the salt sand doesn't work as well, but they will continue to treat roads as they need to.
