A narcotics search warrant was executed in the 1000 block of North High Street in Caney. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and the Caney Police Department worked together to develop information that led to obtaining a search warrant for the residence. During the search, investigators seized what is suspected to be methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Two of the occupants of the home, 19-year-old Stefanie Hopkins and 40-year-old Kimberly Taylor, were taken into custody based upon the evidence found in the home. Hopkins is charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and Taylor is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and child endangerment.
