A man is dead and his female passenger was injured in a single-vehicle crash over the weekend in Neosho County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 26-year-old Jessie White of Pittsburg was driving northbound on U.S. Highway 59 near Erie when his vehicle left the roadway to the left and overturned multiple times coming to rest on the driver's side. White was pronounced dead at the scene.

White's passengers, 36-year-old Casey Nienstedt sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported to Labette Health while an 11-year-old female suffered no injuries.
