A Chanute man has been arrested for possession of drugs and paraphernalia.

Chanute PD responded to the area of the 500 of West Main for a report of a male fighting imaginary people and walking below freezing weather with no shirt on. Upon their arrival, officers made contact with an individual that told officers that he recently had done drugs and was seeing people that weren't there and taking a fighting stance. Officers located items associated with illegal narcotics on him.

Officers arrested 24-year-old Nicholas Cade Wanner for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Neosho County Jail without incident.
