The city of Neodesha has come up with a new name for one of its parks. Neodesha held a "Name Our Park" contest to rename the area formerly known as MEC Pond, and the winner of the contest was Lisa Newland who came up with the name "Riverwalk Park".

The green space has hosted a multitude of events including recreational activities such as fishing and sporting events as well as concerts and fireworks.

The city is thankful for all who participated and they are looking forward to utilizing this space for family-friendly activities and recreational opportunities to improve the health of everyone who passes through.
