The Kansas Department of Transportation will install a new signal control box at the intersection of U.S. 69 and K-126 in Pittsburg starting today.
The traffic signals at U.S. 69/K-126 will be turned off between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. The intersection will become a four-way stop, with flaggers directing traffic until the installation is complete and the signals are operating.
KDOT says to please slow down and drive with care in the work zone.
