A new State Treasurer and Lt. Governor have been sworn in, in the State of Kansas. New State Treasurer Lynn Rogers says through his years of being a State Senator and Lt. Governor he knows that Kansans want financial security.
With Rogers taking over as the State Treasurer, Governor Kelly nominated Secretary David Toland as her new Lt. Governor. Toland says he is eager to serve as the 52nd Lt. Governor of Kansas.
Both men have worked closely with Governor Kelly in recent years. Rogers serving as her Lt. Governor and Toland as first the treasurer or her campaign and then as the commerce secretary.
