State Senator-Elect Virgil Peck has been assigned as vice-chairman of one committee and is a member of three other committees for the 2021 legislative session.
Peck will serve as the vice-chairman of the Senate Insurance Committee as well as a member of the Agriculture & Natural Resources, Financial Institutions, and Commerce committees.
Peck said he is pleased to be selected as vice-chair of the Insurance Committee and that he specifically requested to serve on the Agriculture & Natural Resources Committee because of his background as an insurance agent and because of the district he represents.
The 2021 Legislative Session starts January 11th and is scheduled to run for 90 days.
