The Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks, and Tourism wants to remind everyone that the new night-time coyote hunting season begins on New Year's Day.

But to partake in the season, hunters must obey certain new regulations. These include the prohibition of the use of vehicles during night time hunting and the requirement that all hunters regardless of age have a night vision permit in addition to the regular hunting permit.
