The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Wilson County rose by 23 in the latest report from the Wilson County Health Department.

There are now 620 total positive cases, however, active cases saw a huge drop as it shed 24 cases to drop to 87. Hospitalizations were up three to 32 with an additional death to raise that number to seven. In Montgomery County, total cases have risen to just over 2,000 cases at 2,088, Labette County has 1,790 total cases while Chautauqua County has 159 total cases.

There were 6,373 new COVID-19 cases across the state which brings the total to 216,062 total cases with just under 6,600 hospitalizations and 2,554 deaths since the pandemic began in March.
