There were multiple car burglaries in Galena on Christmas evening, according to the Galena Police Department.

The thefts occurred during the overnight hours all across the town from 3rd Street to 27th Street. GPD said that there is not a specific area that was targeted and if you know any information about the burglaries or if you have been robbed, please contact their non-emergency line at 620-783-5065.

GPD reminds citizens to not leave any valuables in their vehicles overnight.
