This Christmas season, Senator Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) is working to urge the Federal Trade Commission to protect seniors from scams. 

While not new by any means, reports have shown a marked increase in holiday shopping scams. Moran, alongside fellow senator Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), has penned a letter to FTC chairman Joseph Simons asking the agency to respond to several questions. One of those questions asks if there are any additional measures being planned to help guard against scams. Another asks if the FTC is working with any other agencies to combat the same kinds of scams.
