Officers with the Caney Police Department observed a vehicle belonging to someone with an active warrant for their arrest. Officers contacted the vehicle and the occupants in the 300 block of E. 5th St. Officers arrested 29 year old Tyler Privitt on a city warrant for failure to appear.

Upon searching Privitt, officers also located approximately 6 grams of methamphetamine. Privitt was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. Privitt is held on the city warrant and charges have been sent to the Montgomery County Attorney requesting charges of possession of methamphetamine.
