The number of positive cases in Wilson County continues to rise according to the latest report from the Wilson County Health Department.

There are now 537 total positive cases (with 6 presumed positive cases), which is up 23 since last Wednesday's update. Active cases also had a slight bump by three to 108 cases. Hospitalizations are up by two to 29 while deaths remained at five. There were 3,210 negative tests while 430 have recovered.

In Montgomery County, total cases have risen to 1,782, Labette County has just over 1,500 total cases while Chautauqua County hovers just above the century mark at 127 total cases.

There were 5,857 new COVID-19 cases across the state which pushed the state over the 200,000 mark bringing the total to 200,426 total cases. There are also 6,175 hospitalizations and 2,341 deaths since the pandemic began.
