The USD 461 Board of Education made the decision at their meeting Monday night to officially end their semester on Friday, December 18th.

Heller and North Lawn Elementary Schools will have classroom parties on Friday afternoon.

Teachers will report to work on Monday and Tuesday, December 21st and 22nd. These days will be used to prepare for the beginning of the second semester. The board will make a decision in the future on whether or not the start of the second semester will be in-person or remote depending on the amount of COVID-19 cases in the district area.

Meals will be available for pickup on Monday, December 21st from 11 a.m. until noon in the bus lane at the high school by door number 20.
