The number of positive cases in Wilson County continues to inch upwards toward 500 after the latest report from the Wilson County Health Department was released Monday.

There are now 487 total positive cases in which is up 33 since Friday's update. Active cases have also gone up by five to 124 cases. Hospitalizations are up by four to 26 while deaths went up by one to five. There were 3,081 negative tests while 363 have recovered.

In Montgomery County, total cases have risen to 1,526 with 41 hospitalizations.

There are now 190,018 total cases in the state with nearly 6,000 hospitalizations and just over 2,100 deaths as of the latest count.
